On 09.03.2019 the first “Pupil Makeathon” was organized together with the Höchstadter Gymnasium. The motto of the “Pupil Makeathon” was “Innovative Ideas”. With the special Lego Mindstorms system, the project groups were able to create many amazing prototypes and to develop innovative ideas.
The project ideas were an intelligent height-adjustable desk, a cute robot or a smart shopping cart, which could be controlled via a mobile phone. A total of 19 pupils participated, including 17 from Höchstadt and 2 from Nuremberg as well as 3 trainees from Schaeffler. As the Makeathon was very successfully further Makeathons are planned.
